Is there a maximum donation for an individual donor?
Yes. The maximum donation for one individual donor within the competition is $10,000.
How does the fundraising process work?
Teams create a fundraising page on SCORE’s partner platform, GivenGain, and encourage their community to donate. Funds must be raised through the GivenGain platform in order to be applied to the competition total.
Where do the funds raised go?
All funds raised are retained by the fundraising organization. SCORE does not receive any fundraising dollars as part of this competition.
How is the grand prize winner determined?
The team that raises the most money during the four-week competition wins the $50,000 grand prize.
How can teams maximize their fundraising success?
Teams are encouraged to engage their community through social media, local events, and personalized outreach. SCORE will also share best practices for effective fundraising.
Are there additional prizes besides the $50,000 grand prize?
Yes, additional prizes will be awarded throughout and after the challenge. Details on these prizes will be announced during the campaign.
